Peter Menkey from the Slovak Republic is Manhunt International 2010.
23 years old, stands 1.89 m, a college student.
After a long day of visiting and prejudging, the Manhunt International contestants were treated to a night out to party
just before the grand final so that all the contestants can relax and let the muscles down.
We had dinner at the Maison De Chine follow by a fun get together with contestants, national directors and judges.
The representative of India - Ahran Chaudhary is the first Manhunt candidate to be assured a spot among the 16 semi-finalists.
He won the internet popularity voting, which took place in the pageant’s official website.
We arrived this afternoon 18th November 2010 to the City of Taichung where the world finals will be held this Saturday evening.
A charity dinner and auction was held at the ballroom of the Plaza International Hotel.

Some also performed entertainment for the evening. The charity dinner collected more the $50,000.00.
Some people who had auction had more then they had bargain for especially from Manhunt Korea and Japan.

In Taichung, the Manhunt Contestants visited the Xiuping University and met the local university students. More than thousand
students were present to welcome the guys. Many students were happy to meet the whole Manhunt group and see so many models from 50 countries.
They planned a special drum welcome ceremony for the Manhunt Contestants and was warmly welcomed by the university president.
Before the Manhunt contestants left Mount Alishan, they were taken on a morning trek in the beautiful forest of Mount Alishan.
Here lies many thousands of untouched forest trees , local flora and lots of mountain fresh air.
On the 17th November, we left Kao Shiung for Mount Ali shan - Taiwan's most famous mountain resort. There the temperature drops 9C.
The journey up takes about 2 hours and there the Manhunt Contestants met the native tribes, learn their dances and songs, learn their culture,
their lifestyle and their famous Ali Shan tea. (Slovak Republic and Gibraltar got married the Ali Shan way)
The mountain tribes are friendly and practice various traditions and worship the penile figurines that they bring good luck and scare the evil away.

We were hosted to lunch and dinner there we ate organic foods grown in Mountain Ali Shan. The Mayor of Ali Shan also owns the Ali Shan Guo resort Hotel
where we stayed for the evening.

On the 16th November, the Manhunt contestants visit the Da-Ai Village to meet the local natives and join in their song and dance festivities.
There was plenty of fun in dances and songs and of course refreshments.
The local natives also admire the male beauty for the first time.
After the tree planting ceremony, The manhunt contestants visited the Fo Guang Shan Monastery to view the local Buddhist temple and museum.
They later treated to an amazing lunch of vegetarian food which many guys were amused how they made
chicken, duck and meat out of soya, looks and taste like the real food.
The morning of the 16th November was yet another eventful day for the guys. They were joined by the Mayor of Kao Shiung
to save our planet Earth in a tree planting ceremony. Each guy had planted their own tree and had their country flag attached to it.
The Mayor encouraged everyone present to plant a tree to save the planet Earth. Another worthy community project for Manhunt International Organization.

who is also the official swimwear designer for Miss Earth Pageant 2004 to 2009 and Manhunt International 2006 to 2010.

After the Charity Auction Dinner in Tainan City on the 14th November, the Mayor of Tainan City
invited all the Manhunt Contestants and crew to visit the famous Tainan night market. Everyone was
given a free treat on all the food and drinks they can consume. They pick, point and the Tainan City pays the bill.
After dinner on the 15th November 2010, we started rehearsals for the World finals.
After checking in to the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Kao Shiung City, the Manhunt contestants were hosted to an
international buffet dinner with the Vice Mayor of Kao Shiung. Each contestants were also served a lobster thermidor.
We amazed that some contestants had never eaten a lobster.

On the 15th November 2010, the Manhunt contestants visited the Mayor of Kao Shiung City.
They were warmly welcomed to the City of Kao Shiung and will visit many places of interest.
Day 2 - Part 2
After the local tours, in the evening we were hosted to dinner with the Deputy Mayor - Mr. William Hong of Tainan city
and Tainan City government officials.
The guys enjoyed the local Tainan cuisine and receive a business card souvenir from the Deputy Mayor. Manhunt Costa Rica
presented a gift from his country to the Deputy Mayor - Mr. William Hong.
The evening ended at 10.00 pm. another end to a busy day.
The next day 14th November (Day 3) is a local tour of Tainan City with begins at 08.30 am and then lunch and rehearsals.
In the evening, the guys will perform at a charity show by the organized by the Tainan Ladies Club. the boys will present themselves
in their national Costumes and present their auction gifts. 4 special awards will be presented by the local organizers but has no bearings
to the final judging of Manhunt International 2010. They are Best national costume by Tainan City, Mr. Charity of Tainan City,Mr. Photogenic
of Tainan City and Mr. Model of Tainan City.

The morning started off with breakfast and Check out from Chuto Plaza Hotel.
The bus ride with a short lunch break took us 5 hours to reach Tainan City.
On arrival they visited 2 temples and both very famous ones dedicated to Kwan Yin Ma - The Goddess of the Sea
which is worshipped by the largely Taiwanese people. The boys got a chance to see the beautiful architecture and
craftsmanship of the temple. It rained the whole day but this did not dampen their spirits to explore Tainan city.
Some had a chance to make a little prayer to the Goddess. We prayed for peace - Yes world Peace but we think most prayed to
take home the Manhunt International Crown 2010 on the 20th November. Everyone took home a packed of lucky rice for good luck.

13th November is the official first day of the Manhunt International 2010.
The day started with an arrival of Manhunt Costa Rica contest at 0600 am.
The Manhunt group left to visit the Taiwan International Flora exposition for a press and media opportunity .
The Flora Exposition which opened last week and will last for 6 months.

Manhunt Nepal arrived in Taipei and joined the group at lunch time.
We had a special organic prepared lunch at a Doorsha Cafe with some prominent lady socialites of Taipei. The ladies voted for the "own" 4 special awards.
Mister Coffee - Venezuela,Mr. Organic - Gibraltar,Mr. Beautiful Life style - Bolivia and Mr. Fortune - Sweden.
This was all held and sponsored by Doorsha cafe for the fun lunch that was hosted. They are not official special awards.
After Lunch at 2 .00 pm, it was a trip to the Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall in Taipei when the guys tour and learn the history of Taiwan.
By then it was already 4.00 pm in the afternoon. We went to meet the Mayor of Taipei at the Taiwan Agriculture Centre Convention Building.
Here there were lots of people may be 10,000 and lots of confusion and we waited for one and half hours to see the Mayor of Taipei.
But the wait and confusion turned out to be a surprise bonus for all. The President of Taiwan Mr. Ma Yong Jeou made a sudden visit and found out that
we were there as guests. He came to greet the Manhunt Organization and the charismatic and charming Mr. Ma Ying Jeou came to chat and shake hands will all
the contestants and Manhunt organizers and wishing the guys good luck in the contest. Most contestants were surprised to meet him as some have never even met
their own countries president.
Surely a day to remember for the rest of their lives.
Next came a must visit - the Famous Taipei 101 which is the tallest building in Taiwan. A little shopping and break time.
From there at 8.30 pm was a party at the Seven Pub which hosted the Manhunt guys to a dinner party of pizzas, chicken, and beer. A birthday cake was shared for
all guys celebrating their birthdays in November 2010.
The day end at 11.00 pm back to the hotel after a tiring day.
